Rep. Jim Jordan, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing Ohio's 4th district, has recently shared his views on social media regarding clemency decisions made by President Joe Biden and media coverage disparities between political parties. In addition to his political commentary, he also extended congratulations to a notable sports figure.
On January 23, 2025, Rep. Jim Jordan criticized President Joe Biden's decision to grant clemency to several individuals with serious criminal convictions. He stated: "Joe Biden granted clemency to: -A drug kingpin convicted in the deaths of an 8-year-old boy and his mother. -A murderer of two FBI agents. -A drug trafficker responsible for the deaths of 12 people. But you barely hear a peep about it from the mainstream media!"
Later that day, on January 23, 2025, Rep. Jordan expressed his view on perceived biases in media coverage, remarking: "It really is incredible how different the media treats Republican presidents and Democrat presidents."
In another post on January 23, 2025, Rep. Jordan congratulated a former baseball player for his achievement in sports: "Congratulations to Cleveland Indians great CC Sabathia on his election to the Baseball Hall of Fame!"
