Massad Ayoob, a well-known figure in the field of firearms and self-defense, will be conducting a seminar on armed self-defense. The event is scheduled for August 2, 2025, at the Makoy Center in Hilliard, Ohio. The seminar aims to educate law-abiding private citizens on the rules of engagement when armed.

The workshop will cover various topics including recognizing potential threats, developing a self-defense mindset, interacting with suspects and witnesses, dealing with police officers after an incident, managing psychological aftermaths of using lethal force, and minimizing legal repercussions.

The cost for this workshop is $100, offering key concepts from Ayoob's full immersion MAG 20 course which typically costs $500. An early bird price of $75 is available.

Massad Ayoob has been a prominent voice in gun-related publications since the 1970s and has authored numerous books on firearms and self-defense. He has received multiple awards and recognition in his field and served as an expert witness in court cases related to weapons and shootings since 1979. Additionally, he founded the Lethal Force Institute and currently trains through the Massad Ayoob Group.

Ayoob's contributions extend beyond teaching; he has been involved with various law enforcement training organizations and served as president of the Second Amendment Foundation since September 2020.
