NEO Philanthropy, a group active for over four decades, has been identified as a significant intermediary in channeling funds to anti-gun organizations, according to information revealed by a new online database. The website, DataRepublican.com, is designed to track the flow of money through government grants and charities.

DataRepublican.com states its mission is to "connect the dots between government grants, charities, and drawing connections to expose where the money flows." This platform has gained recognition from notable figures such as Elon Musk and Charlie Kirk.

Pro-gun official Hannah Hill utilized the website's resources to highlight taxpayer money directed towards Bloomberg-affiliated gun control organizations. She found substantial contributions made to Everytown for Gun Safety from various sources including $245,000 from the Board of Trustees of the Leland and $6,748,000 from Fidelity Investments Charitable Gift Fund.

Hill commented on her findings via social media: “It looks damning at first blush — we’re digging deeper. Stay tuned.” The impact of this public data on organizations like Everytown remains uncertain.

DataRepublican.com provides several tools such as officer search, federal grant search, charity funding analysis, and voter turnout analysis. Its charity graphs have been particularly noted for their effectiveness in tracking financial flows.

Despite attempts to reach out for comments regarding their funding details, Bloomberg did not respond.

The revelations from DataRepublican.com are already being used by members of the gun community who find it an invaluable tool for understanding nonprofit funding dynamics.
