With a background in both the Ohio House of Representatives and Senate, Jordan has been an active political figure since 2007.

On March 5, 2025, Rep. Jim Jordan tweeted about hosting IRS whistleblowers during President Trump's address to Congress. He stated: "Great to host these brave IRS whistleblowers tonight at President Trump’s address to Congress."

In another tweet from the same day, he highlighted several aspects of President Trump's leadership.
