Thomas Massie, a U.S. Congressman representing Kentucky's 4th district since 2012, shared several insights and announcements through his social media account on March 12, 2025.

In an early morning post, Massie informed his followers of his scheduled appearance on the "Brian Thomas Morning Show" at 8:05 AM ET. He encouraged listeners to tune in for the broadcast. "I'll be on @55KRC's 'Brian Thomas Morning Show' today at 8:05 AM ET. Tune in!"

Later that day, Massie expressed skepticism regarding two political propositions related to spending levels and legislative expectations in the Senate. He highlighted a perceived contradiction between extending current spending levels due to insufficient Republican support and the prospect of passing conservative spending bills later in the year. "These two propositions are not compatible: ... Because we still won’t have 60 Senate Republicans."

In another post, Massie critiqued Congress's decision to continue appropriations from 2024 into 2025 through a Continuing Resolution (CR). He argued that this action effectively secured significant portions of President Biden's agenda for the initial months of former President Trump's term. "Who wants to tell them? ... Congress just locked in a large portion of the Biden agenda for the first nine months of Trump’s presidency."
