On March 21, 2025, Rep. Jim Jordan posted a tweet highlighting the Judiciary GOP's efforts to seek answers from Patel after facing obstructions from Wray regarding alleged collusion between the FBI and financial institutions. He stated: “@JudiciaryGOP Seeks Answers From Patel After Being Stonewalled by Wray on FBI-Financial Institution Collusion”.

Later that day, at 17:25 UTC, he expressed support for legislation proposed by Rep. Darrell Issa aimed at curbing radical judges from issuing nationwide injunctions against President Trump's agenda.
