The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has endorsed Orlando Sonza for the United States House of Representatives. Sonza seeks to represent Ohio's 1st Congressional District.

NFIB Ohio State Director, Chris Ferruso, cited Sonza's background as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and small business owner as a key factor in their decision. Ferruso stated, “He understands how tax policy can impact the ability of our members to succeed. He knows the importance of making the Small Business Deduction permanent. His background and understanding of our members’ issues make him the pro-small business candidate in this race.”

Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director, echoed these sentiments. She said, “Orlando Sonza deeply understands the problems and priorities of small business. As a lawyer, tax specialist, and small business owner, he is well-positioned to stand up for Main Street priorities such as regulatory reform and making tax relief for small businesses permanent. We are proud to endorse him today.”

The endorsement, issued by NFIB FedPAC, reflects a grassroots evaluation process driven by member contributions. This political action committee is supported by voluntary donations beyond the standard membership dues.
