The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) is offering more than $325,000 in scholarships for high school seniors in 2025. The scholarships, which range from $1,000 to $5,000, are intended to support junior marksmen, rewarding their efforts and excellence in marksmanship competitions.

These scholarships are directly paid to recipients and can be used to cover additional fees or expenses not included in other grants or awards.

CMP is seeking applications from high school seniors who participate in marksmanship competitions. Eligible participants must be on a team or club involved in such events and must demonstrate a record of competition experience. To qualify, applicants must be U.S. citizens, possess good moral character, be graduating high school seniors, and show proof of acceptance to a post-secondary educational institution. Applicants are expected to submit a completed form, a certified high school transcript, a personal letter, and documentation of marksmanship involvement by April 4, 2025.
