Thomas Massie, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Kentucky's 4th district, has shared a variety of insights through his recent tweets. His posts touch on local happenings, legislative actions, and personal interests.

In a tweet from April 6, 2025, Massie remarked on the seasonal appearance of morel mushrooms in Kentucky. He noted, "Morels! A few of the black ones were up this weekend in Kentucky, if you could get out between the rains."

On April 7, 2025, Massie expressed his stance on food labeling requirements. Reflecting on a past legislative decision, he shared, "In 2015, Congress repealed country of origin labeling requirements for beef & pork. I voted to keep the labels, but most of Congress voted to remove labels because of a WTO ruling in favor of Canada & Mexico. If we’re in a trade dispute now, I say put the labels back on our food."

Additionally, on the same day, Massie discussed a recent conversation he had with Winston Marshall, a former member of the band Mumford & Sons. Massie tweeted, "I enjoyed this interview with @MrWinMarshall, former banjoist for Mumford & Sons. We discussed tariffs, lobbying, and campaign finance… and one of us might have played the banjo during this interview."
