On April 10, 2025, Rep. Jordan shared a tweet highlighting his concerns regarding Democrat-run sanctuary cities and jurisdictions. He stated, "Democrat-run sanctuary cities and jurisdictions: -Shield criminal illegal aliens from law enforcement -Put officers and ICE agents in unnecessary danger -Ignore the safety of Americans."

On April 11, 2025, he took to Twitter again to emphasize the ongoing political struggle over government financial management. Jordan's tweet conveyed the message: "Republicans are trying to end waste, fraud, and abuse of taxpayer dollars. And Democrats are fighting it every step of the way. Why?"

Jim Jordan, a native of Ohio, born in Troy in 1964 and residing in Urbana, comes with a strong educational background, holding degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and Capital University. His longstanding service in the U.S. Congress, having replaced Mike Oxley in 2007, reflects his active engagement in political issues.
