The Notre Dame College Performing Arts Series for spring 2022 is bringing to the stage an original play coordinated and created by students at the College.
Notre Dame theater presents “Collideoscope” Friday, April 1, and Saturday, April 2, both at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 3, at 2 p.m., all in Regina Auditorium on the College campus. All performances are free and open to the public. Donations are encouraged.
The script is written by student Casidy Thomas and tells the tale of how “In a world where multiple shows combine to make a mega performance, one group of college students will rise above the odds to save the galaxy.”
The production is directed by Celeste Cosentino, interim director of theatre studies, at the College.
Others contributing to the showcase are Sam Landgraf, stage manager; Marge Adler, musical director; Ian Hinz, set, lights and projections; and Jeff Larch, sound tech.
Notre Dame Performing Arts programs not only provide a program of progressive education for those pursuing a career in musical and creative fields but also is recognized for inclusivity, diversity and cultural equity, making for a well-rounded college experience for all students.
