The Buckeye Firearms Association has announced a raffle featuring a $5,000 prize package titled "Built for Heroes." The raffle is exclusively open to Ohio residents aged 21 or older.
Participants are not required to log in to purchase tickets, and no physical tickets will be issued. Ticket numbers will be randomly assigned after all 1,000 tickets have been sold or ticket sales have closed. These numbers will be provided to participants before the drawing.
The prize package includes a Staccato P pistol, popular among law enforcement agencies such as the Texas Rangers and Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. The firearm features a tac texture grip, a 4-pound trigger, and a tool-free guide rod. Additional items in the package include a Trijicon red dot sight, SureFire tactical light, gun and magazine holsters, extra magazines, and various types of ammunition.
A representative from Black Wing Shooting Center commented on the selection of the Staccato pistol: "You need to offer a Staccato. They're our No. 1-selling high-end pistol. They shoot like 1911s but have all the advantages of modern design."
Tickets are priced at $25 each with a maximum of 1,000 tickets available for sale. The winning number will be determined by the Ohio Lottery’s Pick 3 drawing. Participants can increase their chances of winning by purchasing multiple tickets.
Proceeds from the raffle will support Buckeye Firearms Association's initiatives. Only Ohio residents aged 21 or older are eligible to enter. Employees and immediate family members of Buckeye Firearms Association and related entities are not eligible to participate.
Guns awarded as prizes will be distributed through licensed dealers in compliance with federal and state laws. Winners must respond within five days of notification; otherwise, another winner will be selected.
