Ohio Assistant State Director Cameron Garczyk is participating in Lt. Governor Jon Husted’s AI coalition. The coalition's goal is to establish statewide guidelines for educators and businesses as artificial intelligence becomes increasingly significant. To gain insights from small businesses, the coalition is requesting NFIB Ohio members to complete a survey that will help understand their use of AI.

Garczyk expressed the importance of this initiative, stating, “We are proud to serve on this coalition to ensure small businesses are at the forefront of the AI discussion.” He emphasized the necessity of considering small businesses when developing any statewide government guidelines. “When looking at any statewide government guidelines, it’s important that small businesses are considered, so we’re encouraging our members to participate in this survey and share their experience with the coalition,” he added.

The coalition hopes that input from small business owners will contribute valuable perspectives as they work towards creating effective AI policies.
