The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), a prominent advocate for small businesses in the United States, has announced endorsements for 86 candidates running for the Ohio General Assembly. The endorsements were made by NFIB's Ohio Political Action Committee (PAC), which consists of NFIB members from across Ohio.

Chris Ferruso, NFIB Ohio State Director, emphasized the importance of having advocates in the General Assembly who can support small business-friendly policies. "This election year, it is critical that small business owners have strong advocates in the General Assembly to promote policies that will strengthen the economy and lessen the regulatory burdens on Main Street," Ferruso stated. He further noted that Ohio's small businesses are facing significant economic challenges and require relief. "We know this group of candidates are committed to providing solutions for small businesses and will prioritize pro-small business legislation in Columbus. On behalf of Ohio’s small business community, we are proud to endorse them today."

The endorsed candidates span both the Ohio Senate and House districts. Notable endorsements for the Senate include Theresa Gavarone for District 2, George Lang for District 4, and Charlotte McGuire for District 6 among others. In the House races, Jason Allevato is endorsed for District 4, Brian Garvine for District 10, and Stephanie Kunze for District 11 along with numerous other candidates.

The endorsement reflects NFIB's commitment to supporting legislative candidates who align with their mission to advance small business interests throughout Ohio.
