Rep. Jim Jordan, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing Ohio’s 4th district, has shared a series of statements regarding immigration policy and enforcement under the Biden-Harris administration. These statements, posted on social media, reflect his stance on the current handling of illegal immigration and public safety concerns. Jordan, who has been serving in Congress since replacing Mike Oxley in 2007, is a Republican known for his conservative viewpoints.

In a tweet dated April 14, 2025, Jordan raised concerns about the Biden-Harris Administration's immigration decisions. He stated, "The Biden-Harris Administration granted parole to THOUSANDS of illegal aliens that are criminals and on the FBI's Terrorist Screening Center watchlist. President Trump is revoking their parole status. Another win for common sense." Jordan emphasized President Trump's actions to revoke these parole grants, framing it as a commonsense victory.

Later the same day, Jordan shared another statement expressing concern over the policies of Democrat-run sanctuary cities. He argued that such cities are not cooperating with ICE, stating, "Democrat-run sanctuary cities won't cooperate with ICE. They want to release violent and criminal illegal aliens into your communities. Why don't they care about your safety?" This statement questions the safety implications of releasing individuals who may pose a threat to the community.

Jim Jordan, who was born in 1964 in Troy, Ohio, has served in various legislative roles including the Ohio House of Representatives and the Ohio Senate before his current congressional service. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a JD from Capital University. Jordan resides in Urbana, Ohio, continuing his legislative work and voicing his opinions on national policy matters through platforms such as social media.
