Thomas Massie's tweets address constitutional rights and foreign policy

Thomas Massie, a U.S. Congressman representing Kentucky's 4th district since 2012, has been vocal on several issues through his recent tweets. Born in Huntington, West Virginia in 1971 and an MIT graduate, Massie has served in various political roles including the Kentucky House of Representatives and as Lewis County Judge Executive.

On December 9, 2024, Massie expressed gratitude towards Representative Ben Cline for co-sponsoring HR 9534, known as the National Constitutional Carry Act. He stated: "Thank you to @RepBenCline for cosponsoring HR 9534, the National Constitutional Carry Act. No one should have to beg the government to exercise a constitutionally protected right anywhere in the country."

The following day, December 10, 2024, Massie criticized U.S. foreign policy regarding Syria. He wrote: "I have been actively opposed to the U.S. policy (Obama/Clinton/Kerry/Biden) of destabilizing the government of Syria for as long as I have been in Congress. Please pray for the Syrian Christians who have survived our meddling up to this point."

On December 11, 2024, Massie announced his upcoming appearance on a radio show by tweeting: "I'll be on @55KRC's 'Brian Thomas Morning Show' today at 8:05 AM ET. Tune in!"
