Thomas Massie, a U.S. Congressman representing Kentucky's 4th district since 2012, recently shared several legislative updates and opinions on social media. Massie, who succeeded Geoff Davis in Congress, has focused on issues ranging from taxation to constitutional rights. Born in Huntington, West Virginia, in 1971 and residing in Garrison, Massie holds a BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

On February 8th, 2025, Thomas Massie expressed gratitude to Representative Nick Begich for cosponsoring H.R. 1040. He stated: "Thank you to @RepNickBegich for cosponsoring H.R. 1040, the Senior Citizens Tax Elimination Act." According to Massie, this bill aims to support middle-class seniors by removing what he describes as an "unjust double-tax" on Social Security benefits.
