Thomas Massie, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Kentucky's 4th district, has recently shared several opinions and updates on social media. Massie, who has been serving in Congress since 2012 after succeeding Geoff Davis, frequently discusses issues related to government spending and policy.

On March 5, 2025, Massie commented on Congressional actions regarding funding. He stated that "Congress just stood up and applauded DOGE for exposed wasteful and fraudulent programs that Congress itself funded… and plans to fund in the coming CR."

Later that day, he expressed his views on foreign aid, specifically targeting USAID. In his post, he asserted that "The solution to this problem is obvious: Congress must quit sending the damn money to USAID!" He further noted the irony of Republicans controlling both the House and Senate yet facing a vote on a continuing resolution that would maintain previous funding levels.

In another update from March 5, Massie invited followers to view a film about his lifestyle choices. He mentioned ""Off the Grid" is a movie @mkibbe made about my off-the-grid farm." The screening was scheduled for live viewing at 7:00 PM ET.
