The Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse team faced Kenyon College for a non-conference matchup on the Tressel Field inside of the George Finnie Stadium. The Yellow Jackets fell to the Owls by a 17-8 final score.
BW (2-6) was led by freshman attack/midfielder Mariana Melgoza (Avon Lake) as she tallied a team-high three points with two goals and an assist. Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference Kaitlyn Hradek (Olmsted Township/Olmsted Falls) and senior Academic All-OAC attack Sophia Leuma (Bloomington, Minn./Thomas Jefferson) each notched two goals.
Kenyon (7-0) was led by junior attack/midfielder Kate Lengel as she totaled a game-high three goals. The Owls had 11 different scorers in tonight's contest.
