The Bowling Green State University women's golf team opened their fall season with a notable win at the A-Ga-Ming Invitational in Kewadin, Michigan. The event, hosted by Central Michigan University at the A-Ga-Ming Golf Resort, spanned three rounds across Labor Day weekend.

Bowling Green started the tournament in strong form, finishing one stroke over par and securing second place after the first round. We had the goal of coming in and competing for a tournament title right away, and the team was ready to go. They showed poise, discipline, and the will to win all the way down the stretch."

Sophomore Addison Kartusch led individually with a three-round total of 205, finishing 11 strokes under par and setting another school record for best individual 54-hole score. She topped all competitors at the invitational.

"Huge congratulations to Addison Kartusch who won the individual title shooting 11 under par! She played some excellent golf and stayed true to her process the entire time. Overall, it was a fantastic start to the season!" said Fahey about Kartusch's achievement.
