On February 15, 2025, Massie shared an interview where he discussed the challenges faced by the MAGA movement in the House of Representatives. He stated: "ICYMI: 'Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) joins host Mike Slater to discuss the legislative roadblocks the MAGA movement is currently facing in the House of Representatives and how Republicans can fight back.'"

Later that day, Massie expressed gratitude towards Representative Mary Miller for her support of H.R. 1040, aimed at assisting middle-class seniors by eliminating double taxation on Social Security benefits.
