The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team concluded their season in the quarterfinals of the MAC Men's Basketball Tournament. The game took place at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, where they faced off against the top-seeded Akron Zips. Despite a strong performance by Marcus Johnson, who scored 23 points and made five three-pointers, the Falcons were defeated with a final score of 96-67.

The Falcons started by winning the opening tip but quickly fell behind as Akron took an early lead. Derrick Butler provided the first points for Bowling Green, while Jamai Felt contributed with a layup during an Akron run. At various points throughout the game, Bowling Green managed to respond to Akron's scoring bursts, but ultimately could not overcome their opponent's momentum.

In addition to Johnson's efforts, Jamai Felt added 12 points and Javontae Campbell contributed 10 points along with four steals for Bowling Green. Campbell also achieved a milestone by breaking the program record for steals in a season and finishing fifth in MAC history.

Bowling Green ended their season having won seven of their last eleven games. This marks another year with significant individual achievements despite falling short in the tournament.
