The Bowling Green State University (BGSU) women's golf team has been acknowledged for its academic achievements. On July 16, the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) released its list of the top 25 NCAA Division I programs based on team GPA, with BGSU securing the 22nd spot. The team achieved a notable GPA of 3.857.

Head coach Erin Fahey expressed her pride in the team's accomplishments, stating, "I am really proud of the team for having a top 25 team GPA in the country. They work tirelessly in the classroom and on the golf course, so it is great to see their efforts getting some recognition. Congratulations to the 2024-25 team!"

This recognition follows a successful season for BGSU's women's golf team, highlighted by their second-place finish at the MAC Championships—the best in program history. Additionally, six golfers received WGCA All-American Scholar honors, and three were awarded Academic All-MAC honors.
